Whether it's beer, soda or a carton of milk, an undercounter refrigerator is the perfect appliance to seamlessly blend into your kitchen while storing all your beverages at your preferred temperature. Available in a wide variety of sizes and storage capacities, built-in refrigerators are commonly used in kitchens, home bars and man caves. For commercial purposes, these work great for offices, bars, restaurants and convenience stores. With so many features and benefits, undercounter refrigerators are a great way to improve your everyday life.
How You Will Benefit From An Undercounter Refrigerator
There are many different types of beverage refrigerators available, but built-in units are by far one of the most popular. With varying sizes, capacities and the ability to be installed with no clearances, an undercounter refrigerator is the perfect appliance to be built into the cabinetry of your home.
Maximize Space in Your Fridge
Are you always running out of space in your main fridge? With a seemingly endless amount of food containers, condiment bottles and various beverages, a cluttered fridge is a problem we all seem to encounter at some point. Which is precisely what makes a beverage refrigerator so appealing to many homeowners. They allow you to relocate those bulky six packs, large bottles or odd shaped jugs of juice, leaving you with a more space in your main fridge to organize all your items in a more convenient method for your family. With the interior layout designed for cans and bottles of all sizes, a beverage refrigerator not only maximizes the space in your main fridge, but also has the ability to store more beverages at your desired temperature.
Flexible & Accommodating to Any Home
Built-in beverage coolers are flexible and designed to accommodate the needs of every homeowner. If you're looking for a small fridge to store your beverages, we would recommend checking out units that have a slim width of 15 inches. Or you can go larger with a 24-inch wide beverage fridge, which is the industry standard size for all built-in undercounter appliances. If you’re a bar, convenience store, or just looking to store a larger amount of beverages, we would recommend checking out our selection of larger beverage coolers, some of which have 14 cubic feet of storage space.
You also have the option of choosing different finishes for the door itself. You can display your beverages with a classy glass door or go with a solid door that matches the rest of your appliances or decor of your home. Too maximize the interior layout, adjustable shelves give you maximum flexibility to accommodate just about any size can, bottle or container. Most undercounter refrigerators feature reversible door swings that allow you to adjust the orientation of the door to help your kitchen flow efficiently.
Versatile & Sleek
An undercounter refrigerator offers great installation versatility by allowing for a sleek built-in look that seamlessly blends into your home. With the unit’s front venting design you can mount the unit flush, undercounter with no clearance, or have the freestanding freedom to conveniently place it anywhere inside your home.
Indoor vs. Outdoor
The big difference between an indoor and outdoor refrigerator is usually the materials of the cabinet, insulation, compressor, and electrical rating. For outdoor appliances it is essential for the cabinets to be constructed of full stainless steel to handle the tough rigors of an outdoor environment. Primarily most outdoor units have increased insulation and upgraded compressors to help keep the interior temperature cold from ambient temperatures. For safety, units are electrically rated for outdoor applications by featuring a power cord certified for outdoor use.

General Summary of Proposition 65
The “California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986” (more commonly referred to as ‘Proposition 65’)
was enacted to ensure that customers be properly warned when a product contains a substance known to cause cancer or
reproductive harm. The law requires the State of California to publish and maintain (annually) a list of substances
to be available to the general public. Additionally, the law requires that businesses properly notify residents of
the State of California about the presence of these substances in the products they purchase, or that may be present
in their homes, workplaces, or that otherwise may be released into the environment. The specific list contains a wide
range of naturally occurring and synthetic substances including manufacturing and construction chemicals, pesticides,
tobacco, food-additives, solvents, household products, drugs and byproducts created from a specific product usage.
You may have noticed the below warning label on our products, or on products from other manufacturers. The warning
has become increasingly commonplace and oftentimes raises questions about why the warning exists, and what it means
to a customer. The warning itself is just one of many requirements for businesses operating in and/or selling products
to customers in the the State of California. The warning does not mean that a product that includes the warning will
cause cancer or reproductive harm, but rather it simply is provided in order to educate the consumer that a substance
may exist. A large number of the substances listed under Proposition 65 have been in regular use for many years
without any documented harm to a consumer. This is due to the low concentrations and minimal exposure that actually
occurs with these substances. Those chemicals, however, have been determined by the State of California to be listed
as potentially harmful.
I don’t live in California. Why did my product include this warning?
In order to ensure compliance with Proposition 65 requirements we have determined that all products manufactured by
Living Direct Inc, including products sold under the EdgeStar, Avallon and Koldfront brands, should include the
above-referenced warning label. This labeling requirements exists for all of our products regardless of the
location / destination to which the product is ultimately sold and/or shipped.
We believe that our products, when used as designed, are not harmful and as such this warning is provided
in order to properly conform to the requirements of Proposition 65.
